Since I want to hear my in-game sound at the same time as Discord etc. I plugged an Aux cable from my PC into my monitor, which is connected to my Nintendo Switch via HDMI cable. My in-game sound and my PC sound I only hear is a fairly loud noise in the background which has not changed when the aux cable has been replaced.
You didn't ask a question, but I assume you want to know what that is and how to fix it.
This is called a hum loop and you need an audio decoupler / noise filter.
It would be a possibility to try something to change the wiring of the power supply, but that's not so easy to explain, because you are better served with a filter.
Aux cables are extremely susceptible to external interference.
"Another" does not necessarily remedy this.
Make sure the aux cable has a thick shield.
Even a well shielded cable will not help against a ground loop.
Provided that this is a humming loop.
The FS speaks of noise. Not from 50Hz hum.
White noise can also be caused by poor contact or poor shielding. No hum filter helps.
A hum loop is rarely heard at the audio output on the PC with actually 50Hz.
Well. Your filter also has a certain frequency response. If you build in a classic hum filter (which has the maximum attenuation at ~ 50Hz), it will bring you very little on the PC if there are only harmonics of 50Hz.
That's why you take a decoupler so that the hum loop does not arise at all…
Let's wait for the FS, which has now remedied.
To hang around here has no value.
I'm there.
Thanks for your answer, and where can I get such a noise filter?

Or on a sales platform of your choice.
Do you think this one would do his job? https://www.ampire.de/55100-KLINKE.htm?SessionId=&a=article&ProdNr=55100-KLINKE&p=59751
@ CrEdo85wiederDa do you mean with the like that it would fit?
