Would Tera also have been possible in the 90s (survey)?

Tera is called The Exiled Realm of Arborea, so if it had happened that Tera would have been developed in the 90s and it would be an RPG on e.g. SNES (Super Nintendo)

If Tera had prevailed and would be just as successful as Final Fantasy now and there would be several parts of it.

How would you have solved the problem at TERA?

What do you all mean? Would all parts have played on Arborea, i.e. Tera, Tera II, Tera III, Tera IV, Tera V etc?

or would each part have a different name that has the name of the world in it?

Example:

Part 1: TERA = The Exiled Realm of Arborea
Part 2: SoK = Secret of Korendor
Part 3: TLoP = The Legend of Plandor

etc.

^ Of course all would be worlds in TERA universe.

With many other RPGs / MMORPGs there's no such problem, since the name of the world is not included in the name, of course, assuming any other RPG / MMORPG would have been released at least in the 90s and would have been just as successful as Final Fantasy now.

Sh

One can't answer that, these are questions that will not arise anyway.
Furthermore. FF is no longer as "successful" as it used to be.
The only thing that is still actively played is the title FF14, which is the only MMO in the FF universe, as far as I can remember.
Never in life would the whole title be played on one "world". At the latest from the 3rd point there would have been a newer "world".

Final Fantasy XI is also an MMORPG in FF universe.

If instead of Final Fantasy, TERA = The Exiled Realm of Arborea had come and would have been successful and still has 15 parts.

What do you mean? Would the 15 parts also have different names, each with the name of the game world in it?

If the 2nd part in Tera Universum e.g. Playing on Korendor could be bad TERA. Right?

At Might & Magic there was a certain name before that e.g.

Might and Magic III: Isle of Terra
Might and Magic IV: Clouds of Xeen
Might and Magic V: Darkside of Xeen.

An Isle of Terra e.g. Couldn't have played well on Xeen or any other game world. Right?

Why latest from the 3rd part a new game world?

Final Fantasy XI is also an MMORPG in FF universe.

But is not this typical MMORPG, so mow…

What do you mean? Would the 15 parts also have different names, each with the name of the game world in it?

Difficult to say, but would rather tap No.

If the 2nd part in Tera Universum e.g. Playing on Korendor could be bad TERA. Right?

At Might & Magic there was a certain name before that e.g.

Might and Magic III: Isle of Terra

Might and Magic IV: Clouds of Xeen

Might and Magic V: Darkside of Xeen

Would get a backhand like MaM. Say something like TERA: CoX or TERA: SoF.

An Isle of Terra e.g. Couldn't have played well on Xeen or any other game world. Right?

Does not have to be. The developers definitely don't break their heads over such a thing.

Why latest from the 3rd part a new game world?

That was just a gut feeling, basically it depends on how the "story" should continue etc.

With an MMORPG, you can simply omit the rear name. Right?

Would e.g. Might and Magic III, IV or V an MMORPG from today, the MMORPG would simply have been called Isle of Terra, Clouds of Xeen or Darkside of Xeen. Right?

Wouldn't the same question have arisen as now with TERA = The Exiled Realm of Arborea?

Sh

The name is not a deciding factor in how a game is received, etc. This is why developers are not very worried about it.
