I also listened to the sound on my headphones while listening to an audio extractor and it works with everything (PS4, Fire TV Stick and Blue Ray Player) except my Nintendo consoles (WiiU and Nintendo Switch). I have already tried to work with other cables or settings (mono, stereo and surround), but unfortunately no improvement. I use this audio extractor

P.S. I use SPDIF to hear the sound on the PC!
P.P.S. Actually, there are still a HDMI splitter and a HDMI distributor in between, but even if the switch is directly connected to the Sound Extractor, it does not work.
