Nintendo switch / Nintendo switch lite?

I'm considering buying a Nintendo. Since my boyfriend started to play and I never know what to do and watching is boring. I wonder whether it's worth it or whether there are other devices. And what better is the Nintendo switch or Nintendo switch lite? Do you always have to buy the games in stores or can you download them from the Internet?

The only difference is really only that you can play the normal Nintendo Switch on the TV and the Lite only in the handheld. You can also buy games online, switch has an online store!

Of course there are "other devices" but it depends on what kind of games you prefer ~

I recommend the Nintendo Switch to you. There are some tracks that you can't play on the lite. Likewise, you can play with the normal switch on the TV. You can download games or buy them in stores. That's up to you.

I'm so unsure whether to buy it. I think it's really cool but wonder if it's really worth it. What kind of games can you play? I'm afraid it's not there for me

dr

Hmm, what kind of games do you like? Look here, you can take a look at the eShop. There you can see what's going on.

i don't regret buying one. Always find something I like. In addition, there are always new games.

The analog sticks tend to drift, which would be fatal with the Lite after the warranty.

Super thank you! I wonder if it will just lie around with me after a while, so I'm so unsure whether it's worth it, but I have to know that for myself because nobody can help me

I own a regular Switch and find it better than the Switch Lite for several reasons. Personally, I almost only use handheld mode, but if you want to play Mario Kart with friends, for example, a normal switch is much better because you can use it on the TV and don't have to buy an extra controller. In addition, the screen is bigger and the battery life is better (at least in the 2019 version)

Another advantage of the normal Switch over the Lite is that you can easily change the Joy Con and send it in for repair individually. The Switch has a problem with the joy sticks, the Joy Con drift. If the joy sticks are older, movement will be detected even though they are not moved. My Switch is almost a year old now and a week ago one of my Joy Sticks started drifting. But since I have two pairs, I can now just keep playing with the other while I send them in for repair (Nintendo will fix drifting Joy Con for free). With a Switch Lite you would have to send in the entire device, and if it is lost there, all saved games are gone.

You can either buy games as a physical card or buy and download them from the E Shop on the Switch. Some games are only available in the e-shop.

I can recommend Animal Crossing for games. I have almost 400 hours of play and it's still not boring because there's a new update almost every month.

I can also recommend Mario Kart, but only with friends or me online membership.

You can see which games are still out there, there's actually something for everyone.

With pleasure!
