I own the new version of the Nintendo Switch and a Nintendo Switch Lite because I got the Lite as a gift.
Now I've decided to sell one of them because it's unnecessary to own both and I can't play both at the same time anyway.
What I like about the Lite is that it is lighter and easier to handle. I also love the soft coloring that adorns the entire console, as well as the fact that the Joy-Cons are permanently installed and therefore not so wobbly.
On the normal Switch, I like the graphics better in terms of colors, as it looks a bit paler on the Lite. I also like to play on the TV every now and then, as long as nothing exciting is going on, and the larger display also has a few advantages in some games.
I just can't make up my mind as I actually like both consoles. But I could use the money and, as I said, find two almost identical consoles unnecessary.
I also play something like Lets Sing, RingFit, Mario Party etc without any problems on the Lite. So that is unfortunately not a criterion.
How would you decide and why?
Put your Switch away for 1 week. Only use the Lite.
Then you put your Switch Lite away for 1 week and only use the normal Switch.
Maybe you can better determine which one you prefer!
Before that, I had only the normal Switch for 1 ½ years and only had the Lite for 6 weeks because I had loaned the large one. Still, I can't make up my mind
I would keep the normal switch. You would probably miss playing on TV!
