This is practically similar to a tray in which you insert Nintendo Switch-like cartridges and thus, for example, can read the entire Naruto Manga.
Do you think it will "revolutionize" the manga market or do you think the books as such are better?
I think the e one book is good because of the following points:
- Saves space (72 manga volumes in one cartridge)
- The books do not yellow or have any other wear and tear
- The e one book does not have to be connected to the Wi-Fi
- it does not have to be charged but uses batteries (does not have to be constantly recharged unnecessarily when not in use)
- Can be a lot cheaper than buying any volume like this
What's your opinion? Comic fans are also welcome to answer because there will be or already exist for it
It may have its advantages and some will definitely use it, but to be honest, I don't like it at all. If I want to read something (a manga or a novel) I definitely ALWAYS prefer books, unless it's some story that you can't buy as a book anywhere, but that's another topic in turn ^^
Yes…
As someone who reads a lot of manga that don't even exist as a manga in a language I can speak, the answer is pretty simple.
What is the attraction of having something in your hands? I also have a lot of mangas but in the future I will only buy those that result in either really cool covers or a cool motif like the Dragonball
I mean what does "worse" mean. It certainly has its advantages, but I prefer to hold a real book in my hands, because the haptics play a role, or the smell of printer's ink, and I like to leaf through the individual pages
To be honest, I don't care about yellowed pages, for me the paper doesn't always have to be brilliant white. It could well be that the e one book would be more space-saving, but I actually really like to see my collection on the shelf, and if I really wanted space, a normal e book would probably always be better.
As far as the point with the batteries is concerned, I find that rather unfavorable. I know it all too well, the remote control battery is dead and there are no batteries anywhere in the house. And until I think about disposing of the empty batteries…
Well it's different for everyone, but I like it when I hold a real book in my hands than when I just use the electrical part to read
