Dbd control?

I have been playing dead by daylight on my Nintendo Switch for 2 days and I can't get on the controls. Whenever I'm chased by a killer I turn around too slowly and shift my perspective up or down so that I walk around blindly afterwards. Do any of you have any tips on how to turn around smoothly?

You can change the setting. If you can't handle it, you should try others.
