Nintendo Switch new model or not?

Lately I have come across unused switches on ebay classifieds which are all in the red box, which should actually stand for the new version.
On the bottom of the box, however, the switch is called HAC-001 instead of HAC-001-01. The same name is also on the back of the switch and that although the serial number starts with XKW, which should stand for the first one. Does anyone know what went wrong? Or do I just get it wrong? 😬

Strange. Actually, the new packaging is automatically called the new version. HAC-001 is safe the old one.
