Still waiting with the Nintendo switch?

I'm considering buying a Nitendo Switch but it has now been announced a better version (besides the Nintendo switch lite) Should I wait and is the console worthwhile?

This is mainly about battery life - if you use the thing anyway only at home can also buy the current - is practically no matter. Only if you use the part 3 hours + outside the new makes sense.
