When the Nintendo Switch is set to 1080p there's always a black screen for 2-5 seconds several times per minute, but everything works great on 720p.
I found out on the internet that there's a problem with the Samsung TV, but could someone tell me what to do to make it work on 1080p.
TV: Samsung Q70 (can 4K)
Q70R, or Q70T?
That could be because the switch can't answer for such a high image quality. So for me it was also like that you just have to turn the quality down a bit. (-;
But don't some games look bad, like Zelda for example?
Q70R
Yes, so with Zelda, my switch quickly reaches its limits, but it makes almost no difference because, for example. Most of them lay in forests. But that's because of the switch and the image quality.
The switch has no problems outputting a picture in 1080p, with graphically more complex games the resolution is automatically lower, but the "signal" itself to the tv is always the same (1080/720 / 480p) depending on what you have set.
whether you turned the output resolution up or down (at least for me) there were no differences in performance. So I don't think that the resolution on the switch side poses the problem.
What you can try if the TV can't cope with deactivating / activating the TV control in the settings of the switch (i.e. That when you switch on the switch the TV automatically turns on or when you turn the TV off the switch goes off).
but it is also possible that there's a defect
