How sensitive is the display of the Nintendo Switch (handheld mode) to scratches in everyday life?

(Except for scratches caused by plugging into the dock)

Has anyone had any everyday experience?

It is clear that the display should not come into contact with keys or sharp / pointed objects. I'm now referring to the more careless moments (e.g. Stowing it away quickly in my pocket or something similar.)

Have you had any experience there? In your opinion, protective film necessary for the display?

I've dropped my switch many times and I often took it in my pocket - it now has a small scratch. That doesn't bother me, but a protective film is definitely helpful
