Do not you sometimes ask yourself these or other questions?
I'm 30 years old this year and I'm a passionate gamer in 1998.
In the meantime, however, I often ask myself whether it is still appropriate for my age to deal with games.
Why I ask myself that I do not know myself, maybe because I see others of my age who are already married and have children.
I'm fully employed and it is not that I'm busy with games 24/7. But most of the time when I have time and I do not have to do anything then I'll stop playing.
It does not matter if it's PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Nintendo, etc. It just keeps bucking, but sometimes I just wonder if I'm not too old for it
I'm female, 32, mother, married, gamer since… Boah… 1993/94, play active WoW, D3 and various offline games until today. I met my husband in another MMORPG, he plays until today. So in a normal life your hobby really should not hinder you and I think you should not stop playing games just because society prefers to see things differently.
P.S.: My father-in-law is still playing and he is in his 50s. Above all he, my husband and I like to play D3 together.
You are never too old to gamble! There are also some gamers (also on Youtube), who have already reached the "cemetery age".
I'm just 1 year older (become 31 this month) than you and have been involved with games since my childhood, no matter on what platform. It's just an almost timeless hobby. Through video games you can experience so much that would be impossible or impossible in reality.
Sure, if you're married and have kids, then maybe you do not get to gamble that much anymore. But you are never too old for that.
It does not matter what age you play. If it's fun, it can be your hobby, even if you're 70 years old.
Just be aware of how important it is for you or what your priorities are. Are there enough things that you can do in your free time (should only serve as a suggestion, so not meant pejorative), but that depends on everything from yourself.
Do what brings you in life fun and fulfillment
You met your husband in a MMORPG?
I find really interesting, almost borders on anime plot 😄
Oh, that's not uncommon, I know a surprising number of (married) couples who got to know each other. Of course it is also the hobby… 😅
