I do live streams on Twitch and also take them that I publish on my YouTube channel. I usually run a fantasy / epic playlist that is of course protected by copyright, which is no problem for me. I don't want to make any money with it, but lately the videos are simply blocked and only because of a song.
You have to say that the live streams go over the 10 hours and the rendering often takes a day. The whole video is blocked only for a song that takes 2 minutes. I can also not cut the spot in the video manager because he thinks the video is too long to edit what is already stupid. Now I have to seriously delete the video and edit it again and render and upload again for hours for only 2 minutes.
Is there anything I can do about it? Or a program that I can edit the video without deleting it?
I know it sounds a little crazy, but I'm just one who just wants to archive everything.
No. Or you can try to protest, but I doubt it will work.
Yes, it just happens. There they have to take out the songs. YouTube likes to block videos again. But you should know, since it has always been this way. Only lately one can't even hum a known song.
The filter finds that alone and it doesn't matter how long the video is. Nobody sits behind it and says, "Come on, because of 2 minutes", that happens automatically. Which is actually usually a good thing.
It is very cheeky of you if you still complain. You know that it is not your songs and you can't use them for your purposes.
Then you come up with the nasty thought: Right, that your work was in vain.
Just stick to the rules and it's good.
There's a nice page on the subject: The most common questions about music on Youtube

Just read through and you will know afterwards.
You have no rights to publish this music, this is legally regulated by copyright and if you violate it, it will be deleted completely and rightly.
It doesn't matter whether you make money or not.
There's nothing you can do about it, you also have to comply with applicable laws, it's that simple.
