Nintendo Switch too big?

Are there any others here, besides me, who don't care about TV mode and the normal switch in handheld mode is too big?

I think the display is somehow too big and the console too heavy. My right hand already hurts after 15 minutes because the part is just too heavy.

That's why I got the Lite and I'm very happy with it.

Is there anyone else here?

Or what is the reason why you chose the Lite? And what color did you choose?

Ea

No, I think it's ok.

But my hands are used to gambling.

Ja

Mine too, but the Switch is a lot heavier than any other handheld and controller…

Ca

How old are you? If you still have very small hands, I can understand it! I have no problems at 16. The Switch is even easy for me. Could even be twice as difficult for me ^^

Ja

I'm 18, but my hands could easily belong to an elementary school student. ^^

Really have baby hands

Ca

Ok, then it's probably because of that.

If I read it like that, I can warmly recommend the Switch Lite to you. A smaller and lighter console with no TV mode. That's perfect for you!

Co

No, it's okay with me. Even if the console in the handheld is a little heavy.

Ja

Yeah, I've already got it, thank you ^^

dr

Me too. I got the Lite straight away because I would never use the TV mode anyway, but I was able to test the normal one with my cousin. I don't know how he can sit there for an hour in handheld mode. That would be too difficult for me ^^

Ja

I got the first Switch back in 01/2019, there wasn't a Lite back then. Above all, I stood in front of my mother in MediaMarkt and said to her: "It would be much better if there was a switch that is smaller and doesn't work on the TV, I only play in handheld mode anyway and then it would be cheaper Pink". I was only 16 at the time and had saved the money for the big switch really hard.

Only months later, the Lite came out, and I was pissed off. But somehow I didn't quite see them, to "swap" them. But when that came out in Coral, I just had to have it. ^^

Likes the design more too and, above all, the weight is much better. I get really pain from the big switch, I can play the small one for hours without any problems.

Ja

Unfortunately, every time after a few minutes I get pain in my hands with the big switch. Fortunately, this is different with the Lite.

dr

Oh man, that's really annoying.
I actually ignored the Switch until the Lite came out. That was too expensive for me for not using half of it ^^
For me, however, it has turned turquoise for my handheld rainbow.

Ja

I just couldn't wait anymore, the games were too tempting and I never would have expected the Lite in my life.

My brother already has the turquoise, unfortunately I find the color scheme too bright for my taste.

But the Coral overshadowed everyone else for me anyway, because it was exactly what I wanted from the start.

Co

Yes, then the Lite is probably better for you. What did you do with the normal switch?

Ja

I sold them with the Pro Controller, but without the Joy-Cons. So I still have Joy-Cons for Mario Party and so on ^^

Co

Sounds good.

Br

Yes, I only use mine in handheld mode when I'm with friends ^^

but even the Switch lite is too heavy and bulky, I only use the 2ds

Ja

The Switch Lite is actually perfect for me in terms of shape and size.

Br

Probably also depends on the hand size ^^

Ja

Yes ^^ I have the hands of an elementary school student, so big. But unfortunately they are still thick.
