Why don't so many people understand how insiders work?

If a person becomes a walking meme and the audience turns it into an insider, that's completely ok. But then why do so many of these people have to carry the joke anywhere it just doesn't belong? (Example: "Do you see that?" Or "Köftespieß") You read it under Minecraft Let's Plays and what do I know. Why?

And even more annoying: Many assume that everyone will find it funny. I once had a conversation with someone who made an inappropriate "see it?" Joke towards me:

Me: "I don't think that's funny"

Other person: "Do you know where that comes from?!"

Me: "Yes, but I don't think it's funny"

Person: "Yeah, it comes from Justin, he has a watch…"

Me: "I KNOW! I JUST WON'T LIKE THIS!"

And so it went back and forth a bit. How is such a thing possible and why don't these people strap on that a Nintendo Community isn't the place for jokes about expensive watches?

You are absolutely right. I agree with you. I hate something and don't think it's funny

Think that is because some want to be funny and at the same time do not know where what is appropriate and where not. Some just don't think along properly
