Gaming PC, buy, arguments?

I'm Max 16 years old and would like to build myself a gaming PC for 570 euro. However, when I tell my parents that I want to buy a new PC, they either tell me I could play on my Nintendo Switch, or I could buy one of those 300 euro eBay Gaming PCs that are not even OfficePC.

Can you help me to explain that a gaming PC next to a switch is a good match or the eBay ready PCs are no good.

Just say all your friends have one and so you can play with them you need one too. They will let you buy with your money. My parents let me buy almost everything as long as it's my money
