I bought a Samsung Smart TV a few days ago, but the PS4 always turns on automatically when I turn on the TV.
Does anyone know why that is?
Go to the Ps4 on Settings> System> HDMI device connection.
Take out the tick if there's one inside:-)

Do you happen to switch off the TV on the HDMI channel that your PS4 is plugged into?
If you now have the HDMI device control active (which is not stupid) then you switch on the TV, this sends the PS4 "hey, I'm on your channel right now, get ready!" and the PS4 turns on.
It would probably be enough to switch to TV beforehand.
Or you switch off, as 12345121782828 already said, simply the HDMI device control / device connection or whatever it is called with you.
