After a few minutes of writing back and forth he showed interest in the Playstation 4 Pro and we agreed on a barter deal. The next day we wrote again briefly, and he guaranteed me that he would post the GTX at the post office after work. But first I wanted my tracking number as proof that I really sent the Playstation. So I sent him the slip as a photo and since then he did not answer.

Now I was in the police and filed criminal complaints against this guy. I have his address, his name and also found out the phone number. But he lives 300 km away from me

QUESTION: The police know because of the DHL document the address and the name, because the package was normally accepted by the recipient. Can the police do something about it and catch the culprit or have the complications?

The police also told me they needed the serial number of the console but it's written on the playsi and I do not have them anymore. I do not have the OVP anymore, but I have the receipt for that. Only stands on the document no serial number on it and I do not know where or how I find out.
