Mortal Kombat 11, problem with the PS4 controller?

I recently got the game "Mortal Kombat 11" for the computer and wanted to play it with my PS4 controller. Unfortunately, I realized that it did not work out. I've been looking for solutions on the internet, but so far it has not been successful.
I have sometimes tried the following:

Controller plugged in and unplugged
Steam settings switched to PS4 controller
PC restarted
Tried to change the input device in the game (the controller is not displayed)

For other Steam games, the device works perfectly (just tested again), so a defect is ruled out.

I'm really surprised and that's why I think it would be great if you could help me.

Have you ever restarted your PC?
