I have the problem since yesterday: my controller no longer charges, when I plug the cable in, it just flashes quickly and continuously orange. I can still use it, but only when it's attached to the cable, when I pull it out, the controller switches off immediately.
Connect the switched off controller to the PS4 using the USB cable
Press the PS button on the controller
if it flashes remove the USB cable from the controller
so the controller should reconnect to the PS4
The controller will then no longer work. It has nothing to do with the connection but with the battery, it just doesn't charge and needs a constant power supply.
Then the battery in the controller is dead
Should I just get a new one?
Do you have to if the controller can no longer be charged
