Gaming Monitor Ps4 165Hz?

I want to get a new monitor for the PS4 Pro Monitor. Previously had a Dell 4K monitor that broke yesterday. The monitor I looked at is the ACER Predator XB271HUA. I know that the PS4 does not support any higher Hertz numbers than 60, but the PS5 is coming out soon, with which you can probably play with more FPS. The question now is whether this monitor is recommendable or whether there are better ones.

ap

No, it will still be able to output a maximum of 60 fps

Su

Consoles are for noobs, get a decent pc and you'll have more.

Po

No, it doesn't make sense. Better get a good 4k monitor for the upcoming Ps5.

Su

Wow, that's a comment you don't see here very often, respect. I agree with you.

Ch

The PS5 up to 120hz🤔

Sa

A gaming PC is recommended (I have a PS4 Pro and a gaming PC myself) which is simply superior

Sa

That's nonsense you can also order a ready-made PC that has 3 times as much power as the PS4 you don't need any special knowledge

ap

No, it won't, theoretically it can, but Sony tends to go for higher resolutions

Su

But then you've probably thrown 3 times as much money out of the window if you don't know your way around.

I didn't mean that you can't order one, but in the end there are so many people who complain because something isn't working. And the problem is always the person in front of the computer.

165hz does not help with the PS4. It can only do 60hz. I would either use a 4k 60hz (the PS4 can do that) or a 1440p monitor.

"Enjoy smooth gameplay with a high frame rate of up to 120 frames per second for compatible games that support 120 Hz output on 4K displays."

ap

Exactly 120hz at 4k

And who believes in the price of the console

Ch

I don't care who believes it. If, according to the official Playstation site, the PS5 already manages 120 at 4K resolution, then it will achieve a minimum of constant 120Fps in Full HD, and that's all it takes. The statement that the PS5 can still only output 60fps is therefore simply wrong.

ap

They say up to, but with the hardware they will never be able to do that
