When I wanted to exchange a Ps4 controller at Saturn half a year ago because it had a defect, I was told that the warranty only lasts 1 year. The controller was in the box with the Ps4 Pro.
I thought that you have a 2 year warranty on such devices or am I wrong?
I want to sell my console, and if it does have a 2 year warranty, I would describe it with a residual warranty.

Sony gives a 12 month guarantee on its PS4. Accordingly, you are covered for the entire first year. Even if damage occurs after the first 6 months, you don't have to prove your innocence. Instead, you are entitled to repair or a replacement device from Sony.
As far as I know, the included controller even has a six-month guarantee.
Unfortunately, Sony only gives a 12-month warranty on this device. However, you can still try to settle the damage through the statutory warranty, because this is 24 months. (After 6 months but unfortunately only with reversal of the burden of proof)
