I have a one year and one month old Xbox Elite Controller where the Xbox button in the middle has suddenly stopped working for a few days. The controller is completely undamaged and shows no signs of usage from the outside. Because of the problem, I contacted Microsoft Support, but the only answer I got is: Microsoft only gives a one-year warranty and I'm unlucky, my advice that there's a two-year warranty in Germany has been dismissed that Microsoft is an international company and that there are other rules. I'm pretty sure it isn't, but how do I check it and how can I force Microsoft to repair the controller?
Contact the shop / retailer where you bought the controller.
That is exactly the problem, this is amazon, they say after a year they are out and the manufacturer is now responsible for it
