Replace AUX as HDMI?

On your ps4 you have behind 4 ports.
An optical output that is responsible for the SOUND - Works even with a device that can output sound through this port - so your stereo system must have an optical input to hear the sound.
An HDMI output that transfers image and sound
a LAN port for the Wired Internet
an aux port for the PS4 camera.
The part you are talking about here is A: for the Ps2 and B only for the SOUND.
That will not help you much.
You will not see a picture anyway.
This is as if you would want to have the sound over the optical output only via the HDMI port.

So if the HDMI port is broken with you, then you need a new PS4 or you still have warranty on the part and the repair you where you bought it -
If you no longer have a warranty (proof of purchase is required) you can still bring your Ps4 to the store where you bought it and ask for the price of a repair - then you have to go if it's worth it or not.
Remember that either way your save games are gone.
