Do you still have a guarantee for a device that has already been replaced?

Tomorrow I would like to go to Mediamarkt because my Playstation 4 controller has a defect. It would be very nice if someone took the time to answer, but this question is not too urgent to answer. I'm just a little impatient.

Nevertheless, I bought my Playstation 4 in the media market 4 years ago including "Plus Guarantee" for 4 years, so until the end of May this year.

So, my controller has had problems several times and was replaced last July. The new dualshock 4 just broke with me overnight and could no longer be switched on.

My question now is: I checked that as soon as the guarantor takes back the device, the guarantee ends early. In my opinion, it doesn't really make sense because the new controller can also be defective since it was "used" in less than a year.

Since it is not even a year, I thought that the normal manufacturer warranty for the extra controller applies here, especially for the replacement controller.

Will my already replaced but defective Dualshock 4 controller not be repaired by the warranty?
