PS 4 no touch other PS has touch which one is older?

A buddy is joking with me and said he has touch, I don't have a touch but buttons to switch on and off. My bro has the very first Ps4, I got mine a year later in December. The upper one doesn't touch the lower one. Is the lower one older or why is there a difference?

According to Wikipedia, the one with piano lacquer was the first version.

The one with the piano lacquer is the older one, it came out first.
But touch has neither. I generally don't know any ps4 that has touch, they all have buttons.
