Have a PS4 / 5 game on disc, is the digital version available for free / cheaper?

What are the options for getting the digital version of a game that you already own on disc?

If I'm not wrong, it looks like this: insert disc,

Option 1: buy Digi

2: free upgrade to Digi

3: Upgrade to Digi for an additional charge

4: Buy Digi Ultimate Edition (or whatever is above the disc version) cheaper because you already have the standard version.

Is it the case with 4 that you also install the standard version with the Digi Ultimate Edition and then no longer need the disc?

Digital versions are usually more expensive.
