The money is only debited when the goods are sent. It is quite normal that non-Prime goods are not sent on Saturday, and nothing is debited there. Also, many banks do not book on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, so it may be that the booking is only made during the course of Monday. If you have online banking, there's sometimes the possibility that you can see which transactions have not yet been booked.
Nothing is booked on the weekend, because banks are closed. The direct debit also takes 1-3 working days. So it can only be with you on Wednesday.
