Has the USB stick been deleted?

I would like to format my USB stick to FAT32, because I connect it to my playstation, when I format it to FAT32, are the data gone? If so, can I reload the firmware using the tablet without the FAT32 gone?

You can only format it on an empty usb stick. Whatever is now on the stick, you have to save it somewhere else beforehand, unless it is already in fat32 format and you want to use it that way
