Why does not my PlayStation play the blue-ray disc

Good day,

For a long time I want to play the first part of "Lord of the Rings" on my PlayStation. The picture works great, but I have no sound in the movie itself (as well as in the main menu of the DVD). But I have this again as soon as I play in the PlayStation menu or similar. Bin.

Other inserted games or Youtube / Netflix runs perfectly but with Lord of the Rings is simply missing the sound.

The packaging is either Dolby Digital 5.1EX or Dolby Surround 2.0 (see picture). These settings I have synonymous in the PlayStation menu, but still the sound is off.

Can you help me?

For dvd and blue ray, there are extra settings when the dvd is started, I believe Triangle opens the menu look as if there are settings that turn off the sound or you have probably the headset connected then it can be synonymous of the sound over Headset is running

Is the DVD defective?

I would try them in NEN other devices such as in the PC or on the DVD player, if the sound is not there, it is most likely s.der dvd
