Yesterday I went to play with a buddy with my own Ps4 controller. All well and good - today I'm trying to start my Ps4 again via the controller because my touch button on the console is defective, but the controller only lights up white, nothing happens. Also trying to reset the controller or using a USB cable to connect the console and connect the controller failed. Even when I tried a different, second controller, it only blinked white and nothing happened.

I think you can only calibrate a controller when the console is on. So if no controller is connected to the console, it will probably be difficult to switch it on again.
I think this only applies to the wireless connection. The controller is probably spinning, which it had recently. Can only be solved by using another controller with the console switched on.

I can't press the eject button, so I always turned on the console using the controller
The eject button is not the same as the power button, just for clarification. But if one doesn't go, the other probably won't.
