I have the following problem with the Speedlink Trailblazer Racing Wheel: When trying to change the key assignment in in-game settings, I noticed that the accelerator pedal and the shift paddles are perceived as an identical "key" by the PC, Playstation and other platforms. This can't be changed in the control settings in various games, since this may be a direct fault with the steering wheel.
Is my steering wheel defective or can the problem be solved in some other way by using extra software?
PS: The game controller settings under Windows indicate that the Z-axis is moved both when the shift paddles and the accelerator pedal are pressed.
It helps best not to buy hardware from certain companies.
Then there are no paddle shifters but simply gas and brake on the steering wheel if you have not connected the pedals.
