Moin, I have a Playstation 4 slim and it runs perfectly and quietly for hours. My problem would only be that when I go into online mode, it is always lagging, or what means lagging, it does not flow properly, it is rather slowed down as if it were not the complete fps. It only happens with GTA 5 and with RDR2 Online. My internet connection is a 250 Mbits, of course only up to 180 Mbits (Ps4 test), use WLAN, I find that a cable is annoying.
Is this more due to the WLAN and should I switch to a LAN cable? Or is a configuration in GTA 5, in the Playstation, or in the fritzbox not correct? I've only had the Fritzbox for a few weeks and was set correctly and runs perfectly.
Other games are not affected.
So I don't really know anything about electronics, but my sister had the same problems with my old slim. I did not have it with the Pro (I only have it via Wi-Fi). She then switched to a LAN cable and now everything works perfectly.
