Experience with the PSID change?

The Playstation ID has been changing for a year. Unfortunately, Sony does not seem to be able to fully handle the compatibility, so problems can occur with some games. So I hesitated to change my ID. I digitally own The Last of Us and Middle-earth: Mordor's Shadow.

Did someone have problems with the games mentioned? And what about PS3 games? Could someone launch PS3 games even though Sony said they were not compatible with the change?
