I want to buy a new monitor because I've now officially bought a PS5.
I want to get a full hd 144hz monitor because this makes the most sense for the ps5. Do you think it makes sense to buy a monitor now or not. I would then connect it to my gaming pc until I have the ps5. Can you recommend one to me (preferably cheap). There should also be such a HDMI 2.1 do I need that? But my main question should be to get a monitor with 1920x1080 and 120-144hz monitor selected / recommended. It would also be good to know what to look out for.
So. I've done the same, I've already bought a 4K TV so that I can use it for the Ps5, currently the Ps4 is still used for gaming.

4k 60hz ideal white. The checkerboard rendering is at least OK. - assume that something or the like is back at the start and is not always displayed natively in 4k.
4k @ 120hz is absolutely absurd. Also 1080p @ 120hz - nope. I think that the CPU can't do that, and in 4k the GPU can't. Vll in some mini-game and so - yes - but not in performance-intensive games at least.
