Which TV for the new PS5 (see also my description)?

I have the monitor Samsung U28E590D which has 4K 60 Hz and FreeSync. I will also get the PS5 and have currently closed the PS4 Pro on this monitor.

I was considering buying a TV with 4K and HDMI 2.1 (for 4K with 120 Hz) in order to be ideally prepared for the next generation. I would like to have the possibility to have 120 Hz in some games and 4K in others. I also have a lot more relaxed playing on the big TV from my bed instead of at my desk.

I would want to keep my pro too.

But what would you advise me to do? Don't have that much idea

Games will never run at 120hz on 4k. If at all with 60hz. At least this is the goal.

Even AC: Valhalla, an AAA title, as already communicated by the developers, will only run at 30hz.

To give an extract of a statement regarding the Unreal Engine 5 and lumens:

Epic Games strive internally to achieve "lumens" on the Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5 sooner or later in 60FPS. "Lumen is an early, ambitious technology and is currently running at 30 FPS on the next-gen consoles. The team is working hard on the optimization and we're aiming for 60 Hertz at release," said Penwarden.

Games that run at 120hz will be old generation games. The numbers should double there. That means games that previously ran at 30hz should come to 60hz with the new generation. Only games that previously ran at 60hz will reach 120hz. And that should be very few.

But to your concern: The TV looks fine.

I personally have a GQ65Q60R. A QLED also has a 100hz panel (only from 65 inches!) And I think is very similar to yours. It also supports DLNA, which was important to me because I stream my media to different devices using a NAS. Costs only about hundreds more and is just 65 inches. But at least at first glance you don't go wrong with the one you linked. 👍🏻

Many thanks for your response.

Which games are currently running on PS4 at 60 Hz?

Beats me. Most of the popular titles that ran on 4k usually had the option between 4k and 30hz, or 1080p and 60hz. I actually don't know of anybody that 60hz packed on 4k. Probably amounts to something like FIFA or some indie game. 😅
