Gaming headphones + microphone?

I've been playing for a long time, then about 1.5 years ago I switched from the ps4 to the laptop. Since then I always have the problem to find a good headset. Starting with Apple KH, I then bought a Razer Tiamat 2.2 for Christmas, which, however, has extremely disappointed me both in terms of sound and voice quality. Now I'm back to the same point as before, but to give up the consideration on a gaming headset and instead to buy decent KH + microphone.

Advance to my laptop: I have a Dell g3 15 with i7 processor. The sound card is an Intel Cannon Lake H / S - cAVS.

I have often heard that the AKG K 612 pro, the AKG K 702 or the Bayerdynamic DT 990 should be well suited for gambling. In addition to the AKG headphones, one should (as I have heard) have a decent sound card. In addition, the AKG KH have a jack connection and my knowledge can be via USB (at least for headsets) more 'performance' retrieve.

As a microphone, I thought spontaneously of an Antlion Modmic v4, this should actually do quite well.

Now to the actual question: Can you recommend me good KH for gambling and also listening to music that work well with my sound card? Is the microphone well suited? And do sounds from the open design of the KH get to the microphone?

Thanks in advance in advance, I hope one or the other of you knows better than me and can help me too!

You can get more 'power' via USB (at least for headsets).

That's nonsense. For USB headphones / headsets, you have a small bad sound card installed. The offer you no advantage, but the manufacturers like to be given as a surcharge of about 10 euro alone because of that.

I can recommend something if you call me a maximum budget

Ri

Okay good to know. My budget would be a maximum of 150 euro. It should not be more.

Then I would say:

Microphone: Akg p5

Headphones: Akg k240

Interface: Behringer umc22

Ri

Thanks first of all,

Do you have any alternative to the microphone? I tend to use a compact microphone (like the one I mentioned). And did you personally have experience with it?

Ex

The microphone I suggested is good for the price.

The modmic is worse, but the quality will be sufficient. Connect that to the interface.

Ri

Okay, sounds good.

If I spontaneously but want other KH, then everything is clear with the interface, or do I still have to pay attention to anything?

You can actually use any headphones, but no USB headphones

pe

The Antlion Modmic v4 is so incredibly miserable.

I would recommend HyperX Cloud Revolver S and Auna 900b, the headphones are the best sound you can get without a sound card / interface / mixer (so easy USB) and microphones I can only advise against all headset microphones, were all so far qualitatively bad compared to a studio microphone like the 900b (even USB)

You do not need an interface or anything else to play with, the Revolver S really has very high sound quality, you'll be thrilled

Ri

So would you recommend a gaming headset + external microphone? In principle I would be more willing to invest more money in KH than in the micro.

How is it generally with studio headphones? Are they suitable for gambling without an interface?

Was the phrase 'you do not need an interface or anything else to gamble' in the whole, or just related to the revolver S?

Yes

All in all, it's just unnecessary and kicked-out money to buy an audio interface for gambling
