My playstation shows the error message at the bottom of the picture. I found out about it and I know that I have to change the hard drive, but (as you can see in the second picture) the screw can't be opened because I screwed too much and the screw broke. My question: Is there any way to get the hard drive out of there?
I had an idea: I take a screwdriver, melt the front a little with the lighter and hold it to the screw so that they melt together. Would that work?
You are creative, you have to be allowed to do that. Glue may also work if you do it right. Or you are more of a gross motorist and just pry it open (know about Playstations 0 and don't know if this will damage anything, except the cover, of course)
Thanks, I'll try👍
Is the thread broken or the screw head?
The screw head
Then you can loosely turn the screw with a pair of pliers.
Ok i will try.
How do you get that done 🙈. I've already removed hard drives on the ps4, but the screw is not that tight either 😳.
Well, that's the way it is now. In your place I would first try to put some superglue on the screwdriver tip and "stick" it in the screw. Maybe it will work and you can turn the screw out. If not you can try to loosen the screw with a pair of pliers.
I will try, thank you👍
