I recently played on my Ps4. In order to have more storage space, I bought an external hard drive at the time. It worked well until I tripped and the external hard drive fell from my table to the floor. Since then, it has only made scratching noises and no longer works on the Playstation. If I go to USB storage devices under settings then it says "USB storage device is not connected". Unfortunately, I'm not very familiar with this and wanted to ask whether there's a way to repair the hard drive or whether it can still work at all?
No, she'll have had a head crash.
Perhaps the data itself could still be saved, which of course is not worthwhile if only games were on it.
External hard drives are available from around 40 euro (with a size of 1TB).
