Connected:

Receiver to ps4 USB port (microphone)

Receiver to ps4 optic port (sound)

Ps4 settings fit all have already tried everything.

why do I hear players extremely quiet as soon as I insert the microphone via USB? Have everything connected as my brother he hears the players always loud, I, however, can only hear loud and clear when my microphone is pulled out of the USB port then I can't talk but yes.

Have to look in the settings or your headset is damaged maybe you can also make your headphones louder.
