Can you gamble on the ps4 with the ps5 controller?

Although Sony released the new ps5, I still got a ps4 pro because I think Sony will bring out other types of ps5 where improvements are made or with more storage space.

Since I basically already want a ps5, but have to wait another 1-2 years, I would be interested in whether I can gamble on the ps4 with a ps5 controller, if so I would only buy this controller now, since Sony in advance already said that you can't play ps5 games with ps4 controller.

Since I gamble with Nacon controllers myself & they are not exactly cheap, it would make my switch a little cheaper in the next few years 🤔

The PS4 does not recognize any keystrokes from the Dual Sense Controller. I don't know what the cause is.
