I'm wondering if the SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD external hard drive 500GB (SSD external 2.5 inch, 550 MB / s transfer rate with he PS5 to play PS4 games is compatibility Mfg Yannick
Yes, you can use it to play PS4 games on PS5. This won't work for PS5 games.
I know that, can I only save the scores on it or save and start the whole game with the scores on it
What does "you can use it to play PS4 games on PS5" mean?
Does that mean you can only save the savegames on it? No, that means you can play the PS4 games on the PS5.
I read that I can only save the memory of the PS4 games there and not start the PS4 games from the external SSD
OK thank you
Are 550 MB / s enough?
Nobody can tell you that exactly, just wait for the console to be released. Then you have more information, you don't know everything yet. Actually, you should be able to store the Ps4 games on the Ps5 and for the price of an SSD you can easily get a 4TB HDD on which you can store unimportant games.
Do you think that the above-mentioned external SSD the PS4 games that have been improved for the PS5, i.e. 4K 60fps, creates lg
The Ps5 has a special SSD that can load things much faster than conventional SSDs, but if the Ps5 allows 4k and 60FPS, then every console can handle it, that has nothing to do with the hard disk, it is not that fast. But 500GB is extremely little nowadays, for the price you get at least 2 to 3TB as an HDD.
Just want to save the rest of the PS4 games I have on it. Thank you think I can connect the hard drive to the PS5 or
You don't know for sure, the console hasn't appeared yet. But should actually go. Better wait until the console is outside before you get a hard drive. If I were you, I'd rather get more memory than too little.
I only have 3 PS4 games so the memory should fit… The SSD is on sale so I would order it now! Is 550 mbs ok?
And you don't buy any other games either? 550mb / s is actually pretty slow. As I said, you don't know how it will be possible to connect an external one. I looked at the SSD, it is absolutely overpriced. 80 euro for 500GB is a lot of money, for the price you could get a 4TB HDD, then you could buy a 1TB HDD, which is cheaper then.

For example this one.
But it only has 120mbs
In most games, you hardly notice any differences between SSD and HDD. There are no external hard drives that are bad and cheap. The SSD there's absolutely overpriced and not worth the money at all, even on offer it is twice as expensive as the HDD and has only half as much storage. As I said, wait until the console is out and ideally until you own it yourself. There's no guarantee that the hard drive on the Ps5 will work.
YES 550 MB / S ARE ENOUGH FOR PS4 GAMES EVERY TIME!
