I've had a slightly annoying problem for a while now.
Almost always, when I want to start a game on the PS4, I'm told that there's not enough space available (the amount of MB needed is almost always the same) to start the game. However, I have almost 150 GB free. It must also be said that the games themselves are stored on a 3 TB external hard drive, and on the PlayStation itself only pictures, videos and other stuff.
My question now is what this may be and what I can do about it.
Safe Mode and new touch up etc. I've already tried everything, just like every time just to restart the Playsi.
Even if I then, for example It is supposedly not enough to delete videos with a total of more than one GB, and then I have to restart the Playsi before it (sometimes) works.
It can't be that 150 GB is not enough to start a game. Incidentally, not even a whole TB is occupied on the external hard drive.
Somehow I have the feeling that the Playsi with me can't read the memory correctly, or that the information does not arrive there correctly.
I hope, because someone can help me, because otherwise I find nothing in the Internet, except statements, I should then just delete something. Sure, I can do that, but it has to be different with definitely enough storage space, is not it?
Just to be sure.
How much free space on the built-in hard disk does the system display?
@qugart
It displays 145 GB of free memory.
Build the hard drive then back in to see if it is probably not fixed properly and otherwise I can't imagine that what is meant by the hard drives it may well be synonymous RAM memory meant and in the case you can't continue there do because the RAM is not easily replaceable is soldered and my ps4 has only just under 500 mb free and I have no problems and the console will not even install you if you exceeded the limit and I think the ligt I think at about 150MB because the console would always say memory is full so I'm assuming that the RAM is defective
Alright thanks. Then I have to look there. He lets me install everything, because the games are stored on the external as I said. I'll get helping hands, so I do not do more damage alone xD xD
Since I've just seen that you can comment and not have to write yourself an answer: The memory shows 145 GB
