Since I started using the Devolo Wi-Fi repeater, my Wi-Fi connection has stalled on my iPhone. What can that be? In fact, my Wi-Fi is better, since I play with the LAN cable on my ps4 I don't want to remove my repeater (yes my repeater has a lan cable connection). What should I do? Is that normal? For several days now & must now quickly turn on and off Wi-Fi so that it reconnects
What does "falter" mean?
Maybe something is just disturbing the Wi-Fi network. Moving the repeater can help. Can, but does not have to.
You can see how good the spanned network is, among other things. Measure with http://www.netstumbler.com
Are you running your home network at 5GHz? I also had severe problems in the 2.4HGZ network. Since I switched to 5GHz, it has been running smoothly
How can I verify that?
Stagnates in the sense of dead wlan seconds
And what exactly are "dead Wi-Fi seconds"?
Is the connection broken? Is there no connection to the internet? Is the latency high?
It breaks off spontaneously and from then on I can only restore the Wi-Fi if I briefly turn the Wi-Fi on and off
So the connection to the Wi-Fi seems to break. Means that the network will probably be disturbed. This can help to move the repeater.
But it can also be enough if you move the Wi-Fi from the repeater to another channel. See the manual.
In the settings of the respective devices.
