PC regularly freezes with videos (Win 10) why?

For months I have had the problem that my PC freezes when I e.g. Make videos on fullscreen or streams, it doesn't matter whether it's the in-house video player, YouTube or Twitch. I have a 1440p monitor and a 1080p monitor.

It's not 100% due to the hardware.

I have a GTX 1080 Ti and an 8700k at 5 Ghz.

If the PC freezes I always have to let it crash because nothing works.

I suspect it was a Windows update from several months ago.

The graphics card driver is always up to date.

Have you ever updated Win 10?

I manually check the updates almost every day
