Red Dead Online Lose Progress?

Hi, I would like to know if I will lose all of my progress on RDO if I switch platforms. I'm currently playing RDO on a friend's Playstation because mine broke and I plan to buy a PC so I can play it on my own. But my problem is that I don't know if I really have to do it all over again. It wouldn't bother me much, but it would be a real shame. I hope this will not be the case because I linked my Playstation account to my Social Club account. Does anyone have experience with my problem and can they help me?

I have no experience with it, but if you use the same account your online progress should not be gone, because it is saved with R *. But I'm not sure about your story progress.
