Have set up a vpn for my laptop and want to connect the ps4 to the laptop so that I can no longer be dosed. But when I connect the lan cable to the ps4 and the laptop, it shows the ps4 that no lan cable is plugged in,

For this you have to bridge the connection on the laptop. I think it's only possible if you have connected 2 LAN cables.
