Ps4 Sata in new PC without formatting?

I'll be assembling my pc soon and have used a Crucial MX500 for my Ps4 to play, but now I want to install it in my PC and start and set up my PC with it. Do I have to format the SATA beforehand or is this already done when installing Windows? If so, great because unfortunately I don't have a PC where I can connect the SATA.

So is it formatted automatically or do I have to do it myself?

look forward to a helpful answer.

Lo

Actually yourself, but the Windows installation technology shows you that you can format it

i.e. Format them during the installation

How do I do this so there's a video for this? I'm not very familiar with Windows 😅

Lo

Download Windows Media Creation Tool from Microsoft, take a 10-year-old usb stick that is empty and plug it in, run the tool, then take the stick, plug it into the newly built pc, start the bios (could be any f Be key (f1; f2 etc) or esc or del) when booting the pc and then change the boot sequence so that the stick is at the top. Apply the change and restart the pc, then the installation will start

If Windows recognizes the file system or the hard drive, you can simply install Windows on it. It will then be formatted automatically during the installation process.
