Normal headphones for gaming?

I would like to have normal headphones for gaming, so not those that go over your ears (if you understand what I mean) Only I do not know which one to get. I got normal samsung headphones, but my friends hear themselves twice. Can anyone who recommend which?

My experience is the same with double listening with normal headphones. I got from Sennheiser a headset, which is not directly overear but very light and not completely closed over the ear. This is really good and does not bother. Have to see if you like one.
