Disney Infinity 3.0 can you also use ps3's portal platform (base) for ps4?

I would like to buy Disney Infinity 3.0 for the ps4 and wanted to ask if anyone knows if you can use the portal platform (the base) in the ps3 starter pack is also for the ps4?

Yes, the bases are cross-platform. Just like the figures and accessories. Only the game must be for the appropriate platform

I can only advise against buying this game. I think I got it 2 years ago and at the time the servers were already switched off, say you can do almost nothing in this game!
